Patricia (Patty) Graham, Senior Consultant

Patty is an environmental and social expert with almost 30 years of previous experience in a multinational oil and gas company. Her former role included a focus on ESG, regulatory compliance, public / government affairs, stakeholder engagement and community relations – with extensive international project experience.

More recently, Patty has led environmental, social and human rights risk and impact assessments for international projects in the mining and power sectors. She has also carried out international-standard environmental and social due diligence reviews for major development projects and supported World Bank-sponsored mediation between extractive industries and local communities.

Among her other responsibilities, for multiple years Patty has delivered socioeconomics and social sustainability training programmes to corporate teams, government representatives and local communities.

Patty has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. Throughout her career, Patty has successfully mentored junior colleagues, in addition to managing internal teams and engaging with external communities. She is fluent in French and Spanish and conversant in Italian, Portuguese and Russian.
