Roger Cabrera is an expert in macro, political and socio-economic risks with a 20+ year track record advising global leaders on the intersection of geopolitics and economics. With deep experience in risk analysis and strategy consulting, Roger has helped multinationals identify, assess and act on trends in the global political economy to manage risks and maximise business opportunities.

Roger helps clients apply data-driven analysis to support decisions. At Maplecroft, he pioneered the integration of environmental and social risks into mainstream country risk analysis. Later, he led high-impact advisory and consulting teams at Oxford Analytica, Menas Associates and PGI Intelligence, supporting clients through strategic growth, investment prioritization, horizon scanning and scenario planning in volatile global markets.

At Pinkerton, Roger led cross-functional projects to develop and implement the company’s strategy and support operations globally. He also helped multinational companies enhance their risk management through the management of embedded teams of experts.

Roger holds a Masters in International Security Studies from the University of St Andrews, an MBA from IE Business School and a BA in Law from Universidad Pompeu Fabra.
